An angular hip yoke gives this planned late-1920s dress a clear geometric focus. Its downward points lead into a gently flared skirt, while the rounded scalloped collar softens the neckline. Emerald with ivory shows the long-sleeve view; ink navy with powder blue shows the sleeveless option.

Both views belong to the same design family. The scallop shapes, yoke proportions and back construction are independently developed by Sewlore. The design is inspired by period silhouettes; it does not include a copied historic pattern or embroidery transfer.

Fabric and sewing notes

A softly draping woven crepe can hold the shape of the yoke while allowing the skirt to move. Use a compatible lightweight fabric for the collar and cuffs, testing both fabrics together before cutting. Accurate marking will matter where the pointed yoke meets the skirt. Sample the corners, reduce bulk carefully and press without stretching the bias edges. A fitting sample should establish the hip-yoke height, neckline depth and sleeve reach before work begins in your final cloth.
