Printing & assembly

Choose one size and one paper format for your Sewlore pattern. The complete download contains all included sizes in several formats; you do not need to print every page.

1. Choose the correct file and page range

SL001 and SL002 include A4, US Letter and A0 copy-shop pattern files, plus a separate English handbook. Use the handbook's print index to select the pages for your pattern size. The size groups are both included in the purchase. These patterns use separate size pages, not selectable PDF size layers.

2. Check the print scale

Print at 100% or Actual Size. Do not use Fit to Page. Print the test page first and measure the 100 mm test square in both directions before printing the rest.

3. Assemble the sheets

Follow the tile maps and matching marks in your pattern. A4 and US Letter tiles overlap by 10 mm. SL002 also uses a separate 20 mm paper join for long pieces, including on A0 sheets. That join is for the paper pattern; it is not an extra seam in the fabric.

How much will I print?

For size 12 / EU reference 38, SL001 uses 66 A4 pages, 71 US Letter pages or 3 A0 sheets. SL002 uses 73 A4 pages, 85 US Letter pages or 3 A0 sheets. A4 and Letter totals include the size's setup instructions and tile maps. Other sizes use different page ranges, so check the relevant handbook before printing.

The SL001 handbook has 30 pages; the SL002 handbook has 36 pages. Read it on screen or print the pages you need.

Before cutting fabric

Both patterns are development editions without physical sample fitting. Make a fitting sample and follow each piece's allowance notes before cutting your final fabric.
