Fabric Cord Wrap PDF Sewing Pattern

Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. Keep a small coiled cable together with a planned fabric cord wrap. Its broad cuff folds around the middle of the coil, and the rounded front flap closes with hook-and-loop tape.

A rounded flap with a soft fastening

• Wide fabric band with open sides for the cable coil

• Ivory lining and topstitched perimeter
• Plain continuous rear band

The three previews use sage green cotton with a small ivory dash motif. They show the closed flap, the opened fastening and the back of the same wrap. The cable is a styling prop and is not included.

Cloth and assembly

Stable woven cotton and a light lining provide a starting point. Sample any interfacing with the fabric so the cuff bends around the coil without making the overlap bulky. The English guide will address the curved end, turning and topstitching the lined band, and positioning both halves of the fastening.

Check the wrap against your intended coil before choosing final dimensions. Leave enough overlap for secure fastening without compressing the cable. This is a storage accessory for disconnected cables; it does not provide electrical insulation or heat protection.
