A fitted upper band and widening lower edge create this pair of separate leg warmers. Worn over an existing outfit, they add a flared silhouette at the lower leg without requiring a full pair of leggings.

Design details

• Two separate lower-leg pieces
• Fitted upper bands below the knee
• Gradual flare toward the ankle
• Open lower hems with no enclosed feet

Fabric and construction

This is a fabric sewing pattern, not a knitting or crochet pattern. A stable stretch rib or sweater knit is the intended fabric. The final stretch requirement and band allowance will be specified during preparation. Check that the upper bands stay comfortably in place and that the lower hems clear the floor.
