Preparation will examine the curved bust seam, supported loop edges, binding proportions and the behavior of the covered front panel. A swatch should test whether the knit recovers after tension at the lacing. The fitting sample must check neckline gaping, strap placement, pullover access, armhole coverage and movement through the hips. The laces should sit lightly; they are not a remedy for an undersized bodice.
