Front pleats and two buttoned chest pockets give this men's denim jacket its workwear character. The planned cut has room for a light layer, a pointed collar and a straight hem band. Indigo denim and contrasting topstitching bring out the construction; the short side tabs adjust the hem without adding a full back belt.

• Men's jacket block with a relaxed, waist-to-high-hip silhouette.
• Button-front opening with a narrow vertical pleat on either side.
• Two patch chest pockets with buttoned flaps.
• Pointed collar, set-in long sleeves and buttoned cuffs.
• Front yokes and one back shoulder yoke above a broad back panel.
• Straight hem band with short buttoned side-adjuster tabs.

This Sewlore design takes its direction from pleated denim workwear. It is not a reproduction of a named brand's historical pattern. The T-shirt and trousers shown are styling pieces and are not included.

Fabric and sewing considerations

Stable, nonstretch denim is the intended fabric. Check that your machine can sew neatly through layered seams before choosing the weight. Test the topstitching, buttonholes and pressing on scraps, and prewash your fabric as you intend to wash the finished jacket. Fabric quantity, button count and interfacing requirements will be confirmed in the prepared guide.

This project involves accurate pocket placement, controlled pleats, collar and cuff construction, and careful topstitching. Make a fitting sample before cutting your final denim, especially to check the shoulders, sleeve movement and room over your usual underlayer.

The model images are generated design previews, not photographs of a sewn sample. Size charts, finished measurements, print layouts and PDF page counts will be confirmed during preparation; no completed file is currently available to download.

If you need a particular size or printing format, contact us before ordering to confirm suitability. This first release is not a custom-fitting service, and the appearance of a preview cannot establish the finished fit.
