The deep-spruce front and back show the same design. Muted clay is another color for this single pattern. The charcoal trousers are styling only and are not included. The hoodie is planned for adult proportions.

Fabric and sewing

An opaque medium-weight cotton French terry is the starting fabric, paired with rib knit that has suitable stretch and recovery for the cuffs and hem. Compare shrinkage after washing and check the rib against the main fabric before choosing supplies. A sweatshirt knit may also be considered during preparation, with its weight and recovery assessed first.

The English guide will address stabilizing the zipper edges, lining the hood, reinforcing the drawcord openings and pocket corners, and attaching the rib bands evenly. Preparation must balance the front zipper with the band stretch so the lower edge lies smoothly. Check head movement in the hood, reach through the dropped sleeves, pocket access and the intended underlayer in a complete fitting sample.
