Fabric and fitting plans

A stable cotton sateen, manageable woven dupioni or comparable medium-weight costume cloth is a starting point. Test the outer fabric, lining and proposed support together. The cloth needs enough body to show the fitted seams while still allowing the sleeves to gather without stiffness. Sample the piping and sleeve bands before choosing final materials.

The English guide will address matching curved seams, stabilizing the neckline, distributing sleeve fullness, turning the basque point and installing the rear zipper. The zipper is a Sewlore development choice. Exact support placement, lining ease and fastening treatment will be established during preparation; the previews do not show tested internal construction.

Make a full trial bodice to check bust position, torso length, shoulder coverage, upper-arm movement and the pointed hem while sitting. Flexible support is planned to help the garment hold its shape, without a waist-reduction, medical or measured support claim. The design is an original fantasy costume interpretation, not an authenticated historical reconstruction.
