Three-Pocket Half Apron PDF Sewing Pattern

Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. Three open pockets sit across the front of this planned waist half apron. The flat panel has gently rounded lower corners, a bound edge and long ties that wrap around the waist.

Three pockets below the waist

• Front-only rectangular waist panel with rounded lower corners
• One broad pocket overlay divided into three compartments
• Two vertical pocket dividers and a bound top opening
• Narrow straight waistband and long fabric ties
• Open back with only the waist ties crossing behind

Terracotta cotton with an ivory botanical motif and ivory edge binding appears in all three previews. The ties form a bow at the wearer’s left front waist. The front and angled views show the three pocket openings; the rear view shows how the waistband crosses the back. The design has no bib or shoulder straps.

Binding, pockets and waist ties

Start with a stable, washable woven cotton that suits the intended use. The English guide will cover shaping and binding the lower corners, applying the pocket overlay, stitching the two dividers and attaching the waistband and ties.

A trial version should check the coverage, tie length, pocket access and reinforcement at the pocket openings. Pocket dimensions and finished apron measurements will be confirmed during preparation. This is an everyday textile apron, with no heat or protective-performance claim.
