Warm cream with navy edge stitching is shown from front and back. Brick red with ivory stitching is the alternative palette for the same jacket. The restrained surface leaves the shape and hand-sewn edging visible.

Material and finish

The planned version uses a stable, non-fraying wool felt that supports an unlined edge finish. Test thickness, drape, stitch spacing and thread strength on a sample before choosing materials. Preparation will address the collar, set-in sleeves, pocket application, center-back seam and blanket-stitch edge finish. Check wearing ease over the intended underlayer and adjust sleeve and body length in a fitting sample.

The delivered scope is the garment pattern and sewing guide, including simple edge-stitch guidance. Pictorial embroidery, embroidery transfers, motif charts and a separate lined woven version are not included. The underlayer and trousers shown in the previews are styling only.
