Planned design

A rounded bird silhouette offers a small sewing project where seam placement creates most of the character. This planned soft bird combines a belly panel with shaped sides, separate wings and an upright tail. Cotton prints could emphasize the different sections, while a short pile fabric would give a softer outline. The guide will concentrate on matching the belly seam, positioning the wings and filling the body evenly before closing the opening. A fabric beak and embroidered facial details are part of the brief. Colour variations can change its personality without turning the same body pattern into separate products.
