Design and fabric

This knit top is planned with a wide boat neckline, set-in sleeves and a straight lower edge. The intended shape would skim the body without using the construction of a fitted woven blouse. Cotton jersey or a stable interlock could be considered once the required stretch and recovery are established. Stripes are an optional fabric choice, and matching them would be addressed separately from the garment's shape. The sewing guide would focus on stabilising the wide neckline, sewing seams that can stretch and finishing the hems without rippling. A trial would help evaluate neckline width and shoulder coverage.
