Planned design
A handled fabric carrier can give a covered serving dish a coordinated way to travel once the dish is suitable to carry. This planned design combines a padded body with folded corners and casings for removable dowel handles. Stable cotton canvas or a comparable woven fabric may suit the outer layer, with lining and support assessed during development. Sewing will focus on the folded structure, reinforced handle casings and the relationship between the dish and the carrier opening. Dish dimensions, handle strength and carrying performance need checking. No heat resistance or protection from a hot dish is claimed.
