Planned design

This cat vest is planned as a light fabric layer with a short body and openings shaped around the front legs. Its construction will be developed around cat proportions rather than a scaled dog coat. A stable lightweight woven fabric with a smooth lining is a starting point, with the closure positioned for straightforward dressing. The guide will address edge finishing, closure reinforcement and checking the garment on a sample before choosing the final fabric. Movement, grooming access and tolerance of clothing need individual assessment. The vest is not intended to function as a harness or a restraint.
