Planned design

This planned child's jacket has a straight body, an accessible front opening and sleeves shaped for a dedicated child garment block. Patch pockets add a practical detail without changing the simple outline. A stable cotton twill or light denim is a possible starting fabric, with interfacing chosen to suit the front edge. The sewing sequence will cover pocket placement, assembling the collar and finishing the sleeve seams. Shoulder width and arm movement must be reviewed on a sample during development. The jacket is a separate child design, with size coverage to be established once the pattern is prepared.
