Planned design

This planned child outer layer explores two related views: a pull-on poncho and an open-front cape. Both start with a shaped shoulder line and a carefully finished neckline, so the fabric falls from the upper body instead of relying only on a cut circle. A soft stable wool blend or a suitable fleece could work, depending on the intended drape. The guide will address neckline finishing, balancing the lower edge and assembling the alternative front opening. Length and movement need sample checks for the intended wearer. Both views belong to one pattern family rather than separate colour-based products.
