Children's Bib Overalls Sewing Pattern

Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A chest pocket, curved hip pockets and buttoned shoulder straps give these planned children's bib overalls their practical shape. The front and back bibs meet wide straight legs at a simple level join.

Separate bibs above straight trousers

• Square upper front bib with one centered chest patch pocket
• Broad straight shoulder straps with two front buttons on each strap, four in total
• Fixed parallel strap attachments at a closed rear bib
• A single level bib-to-trouser join without a separate waistband
• Two curved inset front hip pockets
• Loose full-length straight legs with plain turned hems
• Plain rear without back pockets or crossed straps

The muted-ochre front, back and three-quarter previews show one child-specific overall design. The ivory T-shirt is a separate styling layer; its pattern is not part of this order. There is no belt, fly, elastic waist or gathered leg cuff.

Opening and fabric development

A soft medium-light cotton twill or fine lightweight corduroy could support the bib and pocket edges. Test the cloth after washing, including the thickness of doubled straps and pocket corners. The pictured texture is illustrative, not proof of a particular fiber, weight or tested material.

The front buttons release the shoulder straps. A short opening at the left side with a tonal button is also planned as Sewlore's own development for dressing access; its depth and reinforcement will be established during preparation. The English guide will cover the bib finish, strap anchors, buttonholes, pockets, side opening and straight leg hems.

This project will use a dedicated child block rather than reduced adult overalls. Confirm chest, waist, full hip, torso length and inseam before ordering. Sample the garment over its intended top to check shoulder reach, seated rise, pocket access, leg clearance and entry through the openings. Fastenings and strap anchors need secure attachment. No independent dressing or tested size-range promise is made.
