Children's Square-Notch Tunic PDF Sewing Pattern

Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A small notch interrupts the square neckline of this planned children's woven tunic. Short set-in sleeves, a plain body and small side vents make a simple daytime costume layer.

A child-specific pullover with no neck cord

The ochre-gold front and back previews illustrate the proposed construction; muted forest green shows another color of the same cut. There is no collar, shoulder yoke, waist seam, pocket, belt or hat. This is a separate child development brief, not an adult pattern reduced at the printer. No fixed age range or validated size coverage is established.

Woven fabric and movement

A soft opaque linen-cotton or suitable cotton woven is the starting direction. Choose cloth that presses neatly around the short notch and remains comfortable over the intended clothing. A stretch knit would need a different draft; it is not an automatic substitute.

The English guide will address the facing corners, notch reinforcement, sleeve setting and side-vent hems. The first sample must establish head clearance through the unfastened opening, shoulder and underarm room, sleeve reach and comfortable sitting. Check the child's current body measurements and intended underlayers before ordering. Opening width, body ease and final sizing will be resolved during preparation rather than inferred from an age label.

The final size chart, finished measurements, material quantities, print formats, layouts and PDF page counts will be confirmed during preparation. Please contact Sewlore before ordering to check measurement and project suitability. Custom fitting is not included.
