The shoulder drape forms a shallow V rather than one horizontal folded band. Its overlap and side gathering are central to this design. The plum previews show an original cropped proportion; the ivory trousers are separate styling.

Knit choice and preparation

A soft opaque jersey with dependable stretch recovery is the development direction. The exact stretch requirement, band dimensions and gathering ratio will be established during preparation and checked in the fitting sample. The preview does not establish a fiber composition, tested stretch percentage or size coverage.

The English guide will address crossed-band assembly, sleeve attachment, side gathering and stable stretch hems. The sample must check dressing clearance, shoulder security, arm movement, neckline coverage, recovery after wear and hem position. Do not use the drape to compensate for an unsuitable fit.
