Compare washed samples for bulk, seam pressing and comfortable movement before committing to yardage.

A toile should check bust coverage, strap position and the lower bodice edge while sitting. The gather distribution can then be balanced so the skirt falls evenly without pulling the upper body out of shape. Final hem depth, zipper length and finishing choices would follow those checks. Styling can stay simple so the construction lines remain visible.
