Planned design

Changing the fabric on a dining chair can alter the mood of a table setting without reupholstering the seat. This planned cover uses separate back and seat panels with a short lower skirt, developed for a straightforward armless dining chair shape. A stable medium weight cotton or linen blend would help show the seam lines. Construction will focus on measuring the back depth, aligning the seat corners and keeping the skirt level. Curved backs and upholstered profiles can change the required geometry, so compatibility must be discussed before purchase. The design does not include armchair or recliner components.
