Double-Slit Maxi Skirt with Brief PDF Sewing Pattern

Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. Long outer panels frame two high front-side openings in this planned double-slit maxi skirt. An opaque stretch brief sits beneath the panels and joins inside the waistband, giving the project an integrated coverage layer.

Long panels over an attached brief

• Broad, level pull-on stretch waistband
• One flowing central front skirt panel and a broader connected side-and-rear panel
• Two front-side openings running from the waist to the ankle-length hem
• Opaque matching stretch brief with a closed crotch and elastic-finished leg openings
• Brief upper edge attached inside the waistband separately from the outer panel edges
• Uninterrupted closed rear skirt, with no rear slit or train

Aubergine shows the front and back; antique teal is another color of the same design. The upper hips visible through the front openings are covered by the opaque brief. The attachment inside the band, pull-on access and fabric combination are original Sewlore development choices. The order covers the skirt with its integrated brief, not a separate underwear collection. Chains, jewelry, a top and other costume accessories are excluded.

Two stretch fabrics and one shared waist

A fluid opaque stretch crepe is the starting direction for the long outer panels. A compatible matte four-way stretch jersey with dependable recovery is planned for the brief and faced band. Both fabrics must provide enough crosswise extension for pull-on dressing. Rigid woven cloth cannot be substituted into this brief unchanged.

The English guide will address constructing the closed brief, applying soft leg elastic, joining the inner and outer layers at the waist, securing the high-opening corners and finishing the long edges. Stretch requirements, band support, brief rise and panel widths remain to be established during drafting. The illustration cannot confirm the hidden attachment or tested coverage.

A complete fitting sample must check waist recovery, hip access, crotch length, leg-opening comfort and coverage while walking and sitting. Assess the weight of the hanging panels so it does not pull the band down. This is an adult costume project; swimming, riding, athletic performance and compression are not promised.
