Fabric ideas

Cotton lawn or a light cotton-linen blend may suit the intended tucks and soft bodice shape. Check whether the chosen fabric needs lining for opacity, and wait for confirmed development notes before purchasing fabric or trim.

Sewing notes

The construction plan centres on accurate tucks, collar and cuff finishes, and joining the bodice to the panelled skirt. Fit a complete toile to assess the waist position, torso length and movement before cutting your final fabric.
