Build a small woodland collection with four coordinated felt insect ornaments: a fern-green beetle, an ochre moth, an ivory-and-sage dragonfly and a russet ladybird. Layered wing panels and simple embroidery give each insect its own character, while a shared palette brings the set together.

Four designs in one pattern

• Beetle with shaped wing covers and stitched veins
• Moth with broad wings and curved appliqué markings
• Dragonfly with two pairs of slim wings
• Ladybird with contrasting spots and a rounded body

The designs are planned for approximately 10 to 18 cm (4 to 7 in) across their longest dimension. Use them individually as hanging decorations or arrange the complete set on a display branch. All four designs belong to this single pattern set.

Materials and sewing approach

Choose wool-blend felt, embroidery floss, fine matching thread and a small amount of stuffing. Blanket-stitched edges, embroidered details and felt appliqué keep the construction focused on hand sewing. The guide will identify the cut shapes, layer order, stitch placement, hanging loops and stuffing openings. This project is intended for decorative display.
