Fabric and sewing notes

Cotton jersey or a comparable smooth knit with suitable recovery is the intended starting point. The required stretch and band proportions will be established with the draft. Test the neckline and armhole finish on scraps, then assess coverage and recovery in a sample before cutting final fabric.
