Design and fabric

A seamed swim top and separate high-waisted briefs form this planned bikini set. Broad straps and a back fastening would be developed as part of the top, while the briefs would use lined panels and elasticated leg openings. Swimwear knit with suitable recovery, swim lining and swim elastic are the intended material direction. Their stretch and tension would need to be assessed together during drafting. The guide would explain enclosed lining joins, elastic application and strap attachment. A trial garment would be needed to check coverage, fastening security and movement before the set is used for swimming.
