Planned design

A shaped fabric nest can bring a coordinated finish to bowls used for serving and table presentation. This planned bowl cozy uses corner darts to lift a flat quilted square into a shallow cradle, with an opening that remains easy to fold for storage. Cotton fabric in two coordinating prints would show the reversible construction, while batting thickness will need checking during development. The sewing guide will focus on quilting order, dart alignment and turning the rim without bulky corners. This is a decorative fabric holder; microwave use and heat protection are outside the design brief.
