Design and fabric

This bra is planned with seamed soft cups set into a cradle, an elastic underband and adjustable shoulder straps. A hook-and-eye back opening would allow the band to close independently from the straps. Cup lining, stretch lace or a suitable lingerie knit could be considered alongside stabilising materials where the draft requires them. Material stretch would need to be assessed by component rather than assumed to be uniform across the garment. The guide would focus on cup seam order, elastic tension and strap hardware. Physical fitting would remain necessary to evaluate cup shape and band behaviour.
