A long blue body, ivory underbelly and broad tail flukes give this fabric whale its calm shape. Small embroidered eyes and stitched throat lines add character without extra hardware. The same design is planned in two sizes so you can sew a single whale or a matching pair.

Shape and size options

• Planned lengths of approximately 38 cm (15 in) and 26 cm (10 in)
• Rounded body with a separate underbelly gusset
• Two softly shaped side flippers
• Broad horizontal tail flukes
• Embroidered facial details and a concealed closing seam

Both sizes are included in one pattern order. The smaller version keeps the same whale proportions and construction.

Making your whale

The design starts with a stable cotton or linen-blend outer fabric, a contrasting belly fabric, embroidery thread and stuffing. The guide will explain mirrored cutting, joining the belly to the body, inserting the flippers, assembling the tail and filling the body evenly before closing.

Files and delivery

Your order covers printable PDF templates in A4 and US Letter layouts, plus an English sewing guide. The prepared files will confirm finished measurements, print layouts and page counts. The images are design previews.
