Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A broad pointed front blade gives this planned kipper tie its seventies-inspired proportions. The blade narrows into a long neck section and a slim pointed tail, with a clean fabric face that lets the weave show.

A standalone wide necktie

Your order covers the tie only. A shirt, waistcoat or other garment is not included. Burgundy and antique-gold ochre illustrate the same planned shape. The unknotted front and reverse images show the accessory's construction concept; the rear finishing is Sewlore's original development choice.

Fabric and finishing

A suitable silk twill or a stable, fine silk-look woven is a starting option. The shell, interlining and tipping need to be tested together so the broad blade holds a clean point while the neck section forms a comfortable knot. Stretch jersey requires separate assessment and is not interchangeable with the planned woven construction.

The English guide will cover planning the bias layout, joining the shell sections, tipping the points, enclosing the interlining, closing the rear seam and attaching the keeper. A full-length sample must check knot bulk, recovery after untying, drape and the position of the point against the intended shirt and waistline. Finished length and blade width will be confirmed during preparation; this is not a custom fitting service.

Your $25 USD order covers preparation of a PDF sewing pattern and an English sewing guide for the design described here. Drafting begins after purchase. This First Release has not yet been drafted, sewn or fit-tested. Make a sample to check knotting, drape and length before cutting final fabric.

The final size chart, finished measurements, material quantities, print formats, layouts and PDF page counts will be confirmed during preparation. Please contact Sewlore before ordering to check measurement suitability. Custom fitting is not included.
