The cuffs and waistband use the same woven cloth as the jacket. Their fit comes from a shaped band and button fastening. This order covers the collared, long-sleeve, pocket-free design shown in the previews. The cream trousers are styling only.

Fabric and sewing plans

A supple wool flannel or similar stable woven with a soft fall can show the sleeve fullness clearly. Avoid choosing cloth so thick that the gathered cuff and waistband seams become rigid. Test gathers, buttonholes and support materials together, then select a compatible lining.

Preparation will address the bust and shoulder darts, front opening, collar, gathered waistband, full sleeves, cuff openings and lining. A toile should check bust ease, forward reach, sleeve length, cuff access and waistband position when sitting. Neither the preview nor the fabric suggestion establishes tested warmth or weather performance.
