Design and fabric

These pajama trousers are planned with a relaxed leg and a waist casing that combines elastic with a drawstring. Side seam pockets and a small back pocket would add useful details around the waist and seat. Soft cotton, cotton flannel or a lightweight woven fabric could be considered after the planned ease is defined. The guide would focus on constructing the casing, reinforcing drawstring openings and finishing the crotch seam. The first toile would be used to check sitting room and leg length, since sleepwear comfort depends on movement as well as standing measurements.
