View A: V-front vestee and rounded high-low skirt

Fabric and sewing notes

For View A, a supple silk satin or comparable woven can follow the rounded high-low skirt; use a compatible opaque fabric for the vestee and facing. Stabilize the V edges, test the pointed join and let the skirt settle before marking the hem.

For View B, silk taffeta or a comparable crisp woven can hold the skirt away from the body; a softer fabric will reduce that volume. Test the chosen cloth with the planned support before committing to the final skirt. The pointed joins need accurate marking, controlled gathers and careful pressing. Check the bodice length and hip placement in a sample before working the angular seams.
