Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. This coordinated 1930s-inspired lingerie family pairs a soft woven bra with high-waist tap pants. The original regular-back design remains included, with a newly planned cross-wrap bra option on the same product page.
Two bra backs with coordinated tap pants
- View A, original: a lined woven bra with near-horizontal cup seams, adjustable straps, a narrow underbust band and a centre-back hook-and-eye closure
- View B, new: a short seamed bra with narrow straps, a low crossed-ribbon back and extensions that wrap around the torso to a small front hook fastening
- The new view shows diagonal ribbons crossing at both the back and front; its front fastening sits below the bra and above the pants
- High-waist tap pants with flared leg openings, a separate inset diamond gusset and a left-side button placket
- A bias-faced pants waist and optional fine lace edging, with opaque main fabrics throughout
The new peach front and rear previews show the cross-wrap option; antique ivory shows the same option from the front. The retained earlier ivory gallery shows the original regular-back set. Both garments are included in this ensemble. Colors and trim choices are options within this product, and the cross-wrap view is not a separate bra listing.
Development work already completed
The original regular-back set has an internal construction study: a 5-page English design and fitting study and one BASE01 prototype with 13 pieces in Seamly2D and SVG formats. These existing studies are preserved. They are not a completed graded customer pattern, print-at-home cutting pack or finished sewing guide.

It is outside the existing BASE01 prototype. Its strap routing, elastic sections, front fastening and relationship to the pants waist must be developed and checked in a sample.
Fabric and fitting
Lightweight opaque woven crepe, silk-like fabric and fine lining are the starting point, with suitable lingerie elastic and strap hardware. Preparation will assess these as a system. The guide will address cup seams, bra-back options, the side opening, gusset assembly, bias handling and optional trim. Bra and tap-pants measurements must be checked separately; a usual clothing size alone is insufficient.
