Teddy and slip in one family

• Narrow adjustable shoulder straps and a softly shaped V neckline
• Light fullness in the bust sections, joined to a body that rises to a pronounced point at centre front
• Smooth bias-cut torso without a horizontal waist seam
• View A: a short teddy with a crotch bridge and gently flared leg openings
• View B: a short slip with the same upper construction and one continuous flared lower hem
• Shallow curved back edge, fine centre-back seam and optional delicate edge trim

Antique ivory shows the teddy from the front and back. Dusty peach shows the slip from the front and back, with its single skirt opening clearly visible. Both previews use opaque self-fabric bust sections; the fine trim is decorative. These are two options within one product.

Fabric and preparation

A soft, opaque woven crepe or suitable silk-like fabric with a fluid bias drape is the starting point. Preparation will address the pointed bust join, controlled gathering, narrow strap hardware, bias seam handling, teddy crotch assembly and slip hem. Any lace trim must be sampled with the base fabric. Bias-cut pieces need time to settle before the final hem is set.

Check bust placement, torso length, movement and step-in access in a sample. The teddy and slip lower sections require separate fitting checks even though the upper design is shared. This is a single-garment family, not a bra and shorts ensemble.
