Broad contrast bands frame this relaxed 1920s-inspired wrap robe. A new knee-length view joins the original long robe, giving two planned lengths within the same pattern family.

View A: short robe

• Loose knee-length body with an overlapping wrap front
• Wide cut-on sleeves ending below the elbow with deep contrast cuff bands
• Flat neck bands continuing down the fronts to squared ends at the hem
• Separate self-fabric tie sash at the natural waist
• Plain unbroken back without a waist seam or patch pockets

Raspberry with apricot bands is shown from front and back. Peacock blue with champagne bands shows the same short cut in an alternate palette.

View B: original long robe

The original ankle-length view remains included and appears in the final three gallery images. It keeps its loose overlapping front, wide T-shaped cut-on sleeves finishing around the elbow, deep contrast bands, flat neck bands tapering into pointed front ends and separate tie belt worn low so the upper body can blouse. The simple back is unbroken and has no patch pockets. Black with ivory and plum with blush remain color arrangements of this long view.

The back layout and inner wrap fastening will be developed by Sewlore. Both illustrated robe lengths and their tie belts are in the preparation scope. This original period-inspired design does not include a historic publication, copied pattern or embroidery transfer.

Fabric and sewing

A fluid silk crepe, suitable viscose or lightweight woven with a soft fall could suit either robe. Choose compatible main and contrast fabrics so the bands do not pull or stiffen the front. Test wrap coverage while sitting and moving, and check sleeve openings while reaching. Sample the band corners, hem ends and belt position before cutting final cloth.
