Cloth, lining and fit

A fine, soft woven wool is the starting direction, paired with a lightweight lining. Sample the layers together: bulky seam allowances can change the inner circumference and pull the curved face edge out of shape. The English guide will address joining and pressing the curved panels, lining the crown, turning the strap and reinforcing its button attachment.

A fitting sample must check head circumference, crown depth, ear position, nape coverage and comfortable clearance beneath the chin. Check the opening while turning the head and looking down. The design is intended for adults; it is not presented as a universal one-size hat.
