A shaped face panel and covered elastic strap

• Broad curved upper edge with two rounded lower lobes
• Small central lower notch shaped around the nose
• Plain front and reverse cloth layers with light batting between them
• Fabric-covered elastic strap enclosed into both side edges
• Turned perimeter with fine matching edge stitching

This project covers one adult fabric eye mask with a continuous elastic head strap. The face panel has a plain soft reverse and no separate molded eye cups. The strap's cloth casing gathers over the elastic without adjustment hardware.

Choose the layers together

A smooth, light cotton is a starting direction for the face and reverse. Pair it with a thin batting that can turn around the nose curve without building up bulky seams. The English guide will address arranging the layers, attaching the covered elastic, turning the mask and finishing the edge. Exact batting choice, elastic length and fabric quantities will be set during preparation.

Make a complete sample to check face coverage, nose clearance, strap tension and the feel of all layers together. Light exclusion and comfort have not been tested, and no measured blackout performance or medical benefit is promised.
