Fixed bust gathers above a fitted midriff

The bust fullness is gathered into fixed seams; it is not elastic shirring or smocking. The shorts flare from a smooth waist without gathers or pleats. There are no cups, boning, lacing, pockets, belt or skirt overlay. Dusty plum shows the front and back. Sage green illustrates the same cut in another color. Cotton fabric and construction planning

An opaque cotton poplin with a supple but lightly structured fall is the starting fabric direction. It should form small even gathers at the bust while keeping the midriff and broad leg hems clear. Use a compatible lightweight woven lining for the bodice and sample the main cloth and lining together. Preview texture is illustrative; check the actual fabric for shrinkage, opacity and seam bulk before cutting.

The concealed left-side opening and bodice lining are planned Sewlore development choices. Their depth, reinforcement and assembly sequence will be resolved during preparation. The previews cannot demonstrate dressing clearance or fit. The English guide will address distributing the fixed gathers, shaping the midriff and back, making and anchoring the shoulder ties, joining the waist and crotch seams, installing the side zipper and balancing the flared hems.

Make a complete fitting sample before using final fabric. Check bust fullness, underbust seam position and midriff length together with torso and rise length. Test sitting, reaching and walking, and confirm both the back-edge coverage and strap security in motion. Open the planned side zipper and release the shoulder ties to test dressing access. The ties and gathered front do not establish a tested support arrangement.
