A shaped sleeveless bodice and relaxed shorts bring a clean summer outline to this planned women's romper. The design, also called a playsuit, would join both sections at the waist, with a side zipper providing access while keeping the front uncluttered.

Planned construction

• Sleeveless bodice with bust shaping and a rounded neckline
• Neckline and armhole facings for neatly finished edges
• Shorts with a dedicated adult rise and slanted front pockets
• Waist seam and a concealed side zipper through both sections

Fabric and sewing notes

A lightweight linen blend, cotton chambray or another stable woven could suit the balance of a shaped upper body and easy shorts. Check opacity and seam bulk before choosing the fabric. The first fitting sample should assess torso length, seated comfort and zipper access together; a one-piece garment needs enough movement through its full length.

Your order covers preparation of a PDF sewing pattern and an English sewing guide. This design has not yet been drafted, sewn or fit-tested. Make a fitting sample before cutting your final fabric.

Measurements and PDF pages

The final size chart, finished measurements, print layouts and PDF page counts will be confirmed when prepared. Contact us before ordering to check the planned sizing against bust, waist, hip and torso measurements. Custom fitting is not included. No finished garment or printed paper pattern is shipped.
