• Separate cloth tie with a narrow middle and two tapered ends
• Short tie knotted around the ring and removable for plain styling

The single project includes preparation of the ring and its short tie. The dusty rose and ivory dot print is a design direction; fabric color and print can be chosen independently. The tie is secured with a simple knot around the ring, so no clip or sewn-on bow hardware is planned.

Balance fabric fullness and elastic tension

A fine cotton lawn or light poplin is a starting direction. Check the fabric's bulk at the tube join and at the small knot before making the finished accessory. The guide will address turning the tube, joining the elastic, closing the opening and sewing the tapered tie. Final cloth width, elastic length and tie proportions will be established during preparation.

Make a sample with the intended cloth and elastic to check gathering, stretch recovery and hold for your hair volume. The design has not been function-tested; the previews do not establish a grip or comfort result.
