Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A V neckline, four-button front and two pointed lower edges shape this planned kids waistcoat. The woven sleeveless layer is developed around child proportions and room for a shirt, with a clean, straight rear hem.

A four-button waistcoat with pointed fronts

• V neckline above a single-breasted four-button opening
• Broad shoulder sections and shaped sleeveless armholes
• Two pointed lower fronts separated by a small center opening
• Plain back with a straight upper-hip hem
• Planned lining for the neckline, armholes and lower edges

The ochre previews show the same child, ivory shirt and waistcoat from the front, rear and three-quarter angle. There are no lapels, pockets, back adjustment tabs, buckles or ties. The shirt, trousers and shoes are not part of this pattern.

A woven layer over a shirt

A fine cotton twill or comparable stable suiting woven is a possible starting fabric. Choose enough body for the pointed fronts without making the armholes stiff. A lightweight lining is our planned development choice; its final fabric, construction and reinforcement will be settled during preparation.

The English guide will address joining the shoulder and side seams, shaping the front points, finishing the lined edges and aligning the four buttonholes. A fitting sample must establish chest and waist ease over the intended shirt, neckline depth, armhole clearance, seated length and the balance of the front points. This is a separate child garment brief, not an adult waistcoat scaled down at the printer.

The final size chart, finished measurements, material quantities, print formats, layouts and PDF page counts will be confirmed during preparation. An age label does not establish measurement suitability, and no fixed age or size range is promised. Custom fitting is not included.
