The terracotta front, rear and three-quarter previews keep the same child, coat length and five-button opening. A warm ivory lining shows inside the hood. The coat has no pockets, belt, drawstrings, quilted panels or wrist bands. Trousers and shoes are separate styling.

Plan the shell, lining and room for layers

A soft stable coating woven is the starting point, with a suitable lining that allows the sleeves to move over clothing. The matte preview suggests the intended surface; it does not establish an exact fiber, weight or insulation rating. Full lining and its final construction are Sewlore development choices to be resolved during preparation.

The English guide will cover the front facing, buttonholes, hood seam, sleeve setting and lining assembly. Test the chosen shell and lining together for shrinkage, bulk and pressing. Make a complete sample over the intended underlayers to assess chest room, shoulder reach, sitting space, sleeve length and the hood's position when raised. The five-button arrangement and final spacing will be developed for the prepared measurements.

For a shorter woven project with a collar and patch pockets, compare the child jacket. The child poncho and cape offers a different shoulder-led outer-layer construction. This order includes only the hooded button coat.
