Planned design

Concealed overlapping panels give this planned nursing dress a function beyond the appearance of a wrap neckline. The concept uses an outer upper panel over separate access sections, joined to a gently gathered skirt. A soft jersey with suitable recovery is a starting fabric idea, because the layers need to move without becoming loose or bulky. The sewing guide will address stabilizing the upper edges, assembling the overlaps and joining the skirt. Access placement and coverage must be assessed on a sample during development. The design brief does not imply an already tested feeding solution or automatic postpartum fit.
