Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A pointed hood and long hanging sleeve drapes define this planned hooded costume robe sewing pattern. The ankle-length body opens all the way down the front, with a small tie at the neckline.

A full-open robe with hanging sleeves

• Loose A-line body falling to the ankles without a waist seam
• Separate pointed hood with a center seam, worn raised in the previews
• Full front opening secured by one pair of matching fabric neck ties
• Separate set-in sleeves with front wrist openings that leave the hands free
• Long curved sleeve hems hanging toward knee level beneath the hands
• Plain closed back with a center seam and no rear slit
• Planned hood and sleeve lining, plus faced body opening edges

The smoke-blue front and back show one design; muted pine green is another color of the same robe. The robe has real sleeves attached to armholes. It is an adult costume layer, with no belt, pockets, hat or other costume pieces included. Additional sleeve shapes and alternate garment lengths are outside this release.

Cloth, lining and movement

A soft medium-light woven crepe is the starting fabric direction. Choose enough drape for the deep sleeve hems without making them too heavy at the shoulder. Use a compatible lighter lining in the hood and sleeves, testing the layers together before selecting the cloth. The final lining joins, facing depth and seam allowances will be developed during preparation.

The English guide will address the hood center seam, neckline balance, setting the sleeves, lining the hanging sections, facing the opening and reinforcing the neck ties. Let the curved edges settle before marking the final hems. A full fitting sample must check shoulder reach, hand access, sleeve clearance, sight lines within the hood and body length over the intended underlayers. Check how the drapes move while walking and sitting.
