Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A broad curved yoke and a softly gathered lower section give this planned reversible wrap skirt its shape. Midnight navy and warm champagne are the two finished faces of one knee-length skirt.
One wrap skirt with two wearable faces
- One adult woven skirt with a knee-length hem
- A broad contoured hip yoke with a gently curved lower seam
- One gathered lower skirt section beneath the smooth yoke
- A generous front overlap and a small outer tie bow at the wearer's left side
- An inner securing tie pair and an outer tie pair, developed to function with either face outward
- Two finished fabric faces with enclosed edge finishes
- A smooth rear yoke with shaping seams and a gathered lower back
The front and rear previews show the navy face. The three-quarter view shows the same skirt reversed to champagne. This preparation covers one reversible design, not a two-skirt bundle. The planned construction has no zipper, buttons, pockets or elastic waist.
Choose two compatible fabrics
Two opaque, lightweight cotton lawns with similar weight and shrinkage are the planned starting point. The navy and champagne palette keeps the curved yoke and gathering visible on both sides. Test the two fabrics together for opacity, pressing, color transfer and bulk before cutting. Avoid combining a heavy outer cloth with a much lighter reverse that could pull the edges out of balance.
The English guide will address shaping both yokes, distributing the lower gathers, aligning the two faces, finishing the wrap edges and hem, and placing the securing ties. Exact tie placement, lengths, overlap allowance, seam finishes and material quantities will be confirmed during preparation.
Make a complete fitting sample to check the upper-hip position, overlap coverage, seated ease and tie access with each face outward. A wrap closure allows some adjustment but does not replace choosing a suitable size and checking movement.
