Use these body measurements to choose your size. Check the pattern instructions for fit and ease.
Sewlore house sizes A-E are not EU, US or UK clothing sizes. Bust minimum and maximum form each size's range. Measure over your intended layer. Panel widths describe one full front or back, not a closed garment circumference; side gaps add room. At a shared bust boundary, compare shoulder span and length and choose the roomier size for more coverage. HPS means high shoulder point. Check head passage and fit with a sample before cutting final fabric.

Fabric & notions
Recommended fabric: Medium-weight stable woven linen, cotton twill or a linen/cotton blend. Use 2.2 m of usable, prewashed fabric at least 110 cm wide for any size A-E; 140/150 cm widths also work. This includes the self-fabric bias strips. Add allowance for shrinkage before purchase and extra for nap, directional prints, pattern matching or added length.

Size and fit
House sizes are not EU, UK or US clothing sizes. Measure over your intended layer and compare the finished panel width, shoulder span and length. Side gaps add to the combined front/back panel widths; this is an open-sided, dartless design.

Panel width is measured 24 cm below the high shoulder point. At shared size boundaries, choose by desired coverage and shoulder width. The finished neckline is 26 cm wide, 12 cm deep at front and 4 cm at back, with a perimeter of about 66.0-66.6 cm. Check comfortable head passage with a nonstretch loop and a fitting sample; 64 cm head circumference is a screening limit. Make a sample before using final materials.
Fabric and supplies
Use medium-weight stable woven linen, cotton twill or a linen/cotton blend. Allow 2.2 m of usable prewashed fabric with at least 110 cm usable width; 140/150 cm widths also work. Add shrinkage allowance before purchase and extra for nap or pattern matching. The layout includes 3.5 m of self-fabric bias strips. You will also need 0.4 m of lightweight interfacing and matching thread.
