Prepared after purchase. Digital delivery within 1 business day. A smooth fitted body and one softly flared hem define this planned slit flounce-hem mini skirt. The muted petrol design has a clean natural waist and a short opening over the left front thigh, giving the single flounce room to move without adding gathered layers.
A fitted mini with one flared hem
- A close-fitting woven upper skirt with a faced natural waist
- A discreet off-center front seam over the wearer's left thigh
- One shallow flared hem section, joined smoothly to the upper skirt
- A short front slit extending through the flounce from its joining seam
- A modest above-knee hem with soft rounded waves
- A concealed center-back zipper and a continuous rear hem without a slit
- No separate waistband, elastic, pockets, ties or wrap overlay
The flounce is an edge-to-edge extension of the skirt body. Its upper edge is smooth, rather than gathered, and it does not float over another ruffle. This order covers one design and length. The slit depth, hem sweep and finished proportions will be established during preparation and checked in a fitting sample.
Fabric and sewing preparation
An opaque, non-stretch woven crepe with a soft drape is the planned starting fabric. The previews show muted petrol. Choose enough body to keep the upper skirt smooth while allowing the flared hem to fall in gentle waves. Test the facing support, zipper seam and narrow curved hem on scraps before cutting the garment.
The English guide will address shaping the upper skirt, stabilizing the faced waist, joining the flounce, finishing the short front opening and inserting the concealed back zipper. Make a full toile to check hip ease, sitting comfort, hem coverage and the slit while walking. Fabric quantities and final construction details will be confirmed during preparation.
