Fabric and sewing notes
Choose a soft woven such as fine crepe, suitable viscose or lightweight satin, with compatible lace and an opaque backing for the bodice. Sample all layers together to check seam bulk and the neckline finish. The first fitting sample should check shoulder placement, underbust comfort and the depth of the V before you cut lace. Keep the skirt hem clear of the floor for the intended wearer.
