A light wrap layer with side ties

• Functioning crossed V-front opening with a flat matching neck and front band
• Narrow exterior ties at the side and a planned hidden tie securing the inner overlap

Choose a soft woven cloth

A supple linen-cotton blend or a soft, opaque cotton is a starting point for this unlined lounge layer. Prewash the fabric and test how the doubled band and narrow ties behave after pressing. Avoid a cloth so stiff that the front edges stand away from the body. Final material quantities, seam finishes and band support will be established during preparation.

The English guide will address the front overlap, band attachment, sleeve joins, patch pocket, tie anchors and clean inside finishes. The hidden underlap tie and the pocket position are Sewlore development choices. Both inside and outside ties need secure attachment without pulling the neckline off balance.

Make a fitting sample over the underlayers you intend to wear. Check shoulder reach, the side tie position, sleeve clearance and front coverage while seated or bending. The preview does not establish finished ease or tested sizing.
